The ferry became a main part of my weekly routine as I travelled back and forth from Brooklyn to “the forgotten borough” to stay at the home of my partner at the time. Long waits in the terminal and scenic views of the harbour left a strong impression on me and my personal connection to NYC. This is a series on that commute.
